This is what those of us in the scientific community have been complaining about for years. I work with data sets that are "endangered" on a daily basis and NASA is funding my work. It is amazing how much of this data has been lost to history.

It seems that even James Hansen, the father of AGW CO2 theory knows that Copenhagen is nothing more than a smoke screen that will do absolutely nothing toward lowering CO2 emissions. Healthcare, Climate Change, Economy, so far these guys are batting a 1000 for failure.

There is no sign of a conspiracy to alter data to fit a pre-conceived ideological view. Rather, I see dedicated scientists attempting to make the truth known in face of what is probably the world's most pervasive and best-funded disinformation campaign against science in history.

A couple of new memes are starting to grow in the AGW believing blogosphere. Unable to fathom that they could have been wrong, they are now beginning to concoct a story that the climate emails were forged or modified in order to make the scientists involved look bad.
